History

Paul Driessen worked in insurance all his life. In 1954 his employer Nationale-Netherland gave him the opportunity to set up a new brand of the company in Sydney. He built great relationships with his clients especially assisting Dutch immigrants to obtain housing loans and insurance. In 1960 he decided to stay in Australia and open his own insurance agency business assisting his past clients with their insurance needs.

Leo (Paul’s son) took over his father’s business in 1968, ensuring that he kept on the personal connections and commitment of quality service, to which he stills follow today.

In keeping with tradition, Driessen Insurance Brokers is still a family affair with wife Bernadette as Company Secretary and daughter Angela Driessen-Clancy as a Director.
